Captain J. M. Hottel is hereby authorized to
make such arrangement for the removal of Rail Road stock from Alabama
and Mississippi as the prompt discharge of this duty may require. |
The Stock referred to embraces all cars
and engines owned by Companies East of the Alabama River, or by the
Confederate States or that were run off from roads invaded by the
enemy and are not legally controlled in the States above mentioned.
Managers of Rail Roads are requested to give him any information or
assistance that will aid him in the execution of his orders. |
