(15) Fifteen car loads with lumber for
Pitts & Cook arrived here at 2:40 am Saturday last June 13th. Of the (9)
nine were cars of the G. R. Road {Georgia RR}
and (6) coal cars, M&W R Road {Macon &
Western RR}. The cars returning left here for Macon 6:30 pm
Saturday last, same day of their arrival, that is to say the Central
Cars {Central (of Georgia) RR} -- the (6)
coal cars belonging to M&W R Road were by order Maj. Cuyler this day
filled by E. Warner Agt. M&W R Road to Etna Mines for coal for Maj.
Cuyler. |
The remark that the Central R. Road is
unwilling to permit its cars to come here on account of frequent
seizures at this point, in this connection I remark, that the one who
seized a single car of the Central or another Roads no car from any Road
has been transferred to a road ??? other than its own without the full
consent of the Road or its ??tation. |
I make the statement here, because I
desire to correct any false impression made upon your mind. |
I remain Captain Very Respectfully |
