This day personally appeared Alexander
Lutz before me a Justice of the Peace & made oath that he has not
received any compensation for the within Horses & harness since their
impressment, except the return of a Bay Mare, within receipted for &
that the said Horse & harness are still in the Confederate States
Service to the best of his knowledge. The above statement was also
verified by Samuel W. & Lem H Rintree who made oath to the correctness
of the above statement. Given under my hand this 29th day of November
1862. |
