| He is a Civil Engineer by profession
nearly thirty years of age, and has spent most of the last twelve
years in the woods superintending the construction of Rail Roads; and
is a man of sterling integrity strict sobriety and unremitting
attention to his duties. This much I may say to you as his father: but
I refer you to Messrs McRae & Lyon for a more disinterested and
perfect knowledge of his fitness for the office he seeks. |
