| In reply to your enquiries I
have the honor to state that I shall probably require per Rail road
the Transportation of Say 800 tons of iron out and in per month in the
preparation for plates for Gun Boats also of coal for the use of
Rolling Mill Shops and to Naval Stations at Charleston, Savannah,
& Columbus Ga. Say an aggregate amt of from 1000 to 1500 tons per
month making a total of from 1800 to 2300 tons per month. |
