I am glad to know that you are comding (?)
the Piedmont & Danville road {Piedmont RR},
we hope no more bad luck will befall you. Today however it is raining and
sleeting with every indication that it will extend to you. I am very
anxious to hear of your suffering, and must thank you for keeping me as
constantly advised of your trouble and ???. Thus far every man you
have asked for has been detailed, if you have not
received the papers let me know. The supply of wood will no doubt
bother you all day weather sets in for good, when you ????? be ???
amiable. The engine No. 3 will be ready Rahme says on Saturday. Cant
you send ????? to hurry her along? I wrote you about to the
"James" but am without reply. Do you wish to keep her? |
