I deem it prudent to inform
that I am this morning informed that Genl Crittenden's command is in
need of 40 or 50 wagons & teams for necessary transportation. |
The heavy demand upon this
office for transportation at this time precludes an attempt to furnish
wagons and teams by purchase. If necessary, please authorize
impressment. |
