| I take pleasure in concurring with others
to recommend the promotion of Capt J. C. Berry who has for a long time
filled the position of transportation agent at Mobile. He is a bonded
Agent & ought to be promoted and commissioned. I know of no other bonded
Agent and in position to Capt Berry, I think he should out be placed on
a level with others who are (most of them) doing less for the Govt with
higher position and more pay. |
