| In obedience to General Orders No. 118, I
have the honor to report, that on the 9th day of July 1863, I was
appointed Brigade Quartermaster, and on the same day was ordered by
the Honorable Secretary of War to report for duty to Maj. F. W. Sims
for service in the Rail Road Bureau. I have since that date been
acting as Superintendent of Rail Road transportation for the
Government in this State, which was the object of my appointment. |
