| I will thank you to get the
detail of "Joseph Cole Co K 13th Virginia Cavalry renewed or extended. |
| Mr. Cole has been in the
service of this Company for some time, he is a Machinist and Engine
runner, and his services are of great value to us at this time as some
of our best Mechanics have deserted and gone to the enemy and we have
not enough left to keep our engines in order. Mr. Cole is the only
man in our service who has been detailed from the army. |
