| In reply to your favor by Mr Parkman with
reference to procuring the drawings of a spike Machine I have to inform you that Col Sims called on
the parties in relation to them and was informed that it would take six months to get them, as
soon almost as it would take to make you one & send it the Col was
on travel to Greensboro on important business and was unable to give the matter any further
attention, he will have ??? return early next week when you will here again
from him
and the subject, the further contents of your letter will also claim his
attention. |
