Genl, |
I would respectfully ask for
the detail of Private Edward F. Straney Capt Breathards Co Stuarts Horse
Artillery A. N.V. for service in Virginia Central Rail Road. This road
has recently lost the services of two of their best Machinist and in
view of keeping up their machinery I respectfully ask this detail for
the winter months presuming their services in the field will not be so
much needed at present as in the summer and therefore I make this
application with confidence that a favorable response will be made. |
I am, General, |
Very respectfully |
