B B Lewis of this City. |
| He will make known his wants, and if Maj Wood &
yourself can render him your cooperation in obtaining what he desires,
will be greatly appreciated by me. I have known the Col long time &
heartily believe, that the Government will be benefited in securing his
services in the Transportation Dept. I feel assured you will take
pleasure in aiding my friend in his purposes. |

that Col. Lewis will make an efficient Transpn Agent at Macon. |
