Augusta, Geo. |

Sir, |
A communication from Mr. R. R. Cuyler,
President of the Central {(of Georgia)} Rail
Road, states that trouble is occasioned at Augusta, by Commissioners,
and Quartermasters, who impress Flour, etc, in the warehouses of the
Rail Road Company, and refuse to give receipts for the property after
its seizure. |
You will report whether any officers, or
agents of the Quarter Master Department, have occasioned the
difficulty to the Rail Road authorities, resulting from this refusal
to receipt for the property seized. |
