Immediately on the receipt of this, I
desire that you will report to me the cause of the repeated delay in
transportation on the Charleston and Raleigh Rail Road
{There was no road by that name. The route was made of the
Northeastern RR, the Wilmington & Manchester RR, the Wilmington
& Weldon RR, and the North Carolina RR}. Complaints are
made to me of so serious a matter respecting the management of this
road that I desire to hear from you on the possible{?}
alluded to. |
