Sir, |
It was arranged between General Anderson,
of the firm of J. R. Anderson & Co. that 28,000 bushels of corn
{almost 190 car loads}, in transitu from
the south to this place should be taken by the Department, if then you
have used this corn you will promptly return the quantity taken, in
sacks, ready for transportation forwarding it to its original
destination. It is important that this should be promptly done as it is
necessary to the support of the great Iron Works under the control of
the firm in question. |
