Knoxville, Tenn. |
|
Sir, |
Freights for Manassas and Richmond
reported to be stopped at Knoxville, and something wrong with the
Superintendent of Road from Knoxville to Bristol {the
East Tennessee & Virginia RR}. The superintendent {probably
M. S. Temple} should be made to resign, and one of undoubted
fidelity to the South be put in his place. |
The report says fidelity of present
Superintendent suspected. |
