You will ship to Col. Corley
at Petersburg as quickly as it can be done, five Thousand (5000)
bushels of corn {about 18 car loads}. In
the future, {cotton} mill offal must be
fed to the horses in the City and attached to the various commands in
the vicinity in lieu of corn & oats. |
