| John J. Noble, Esqr, of Montgomery, has been appointed
by the War Department, a sub-agent, to act under the orders of I. M.
Seixas Esqr, at Wilmington, North Carolina, for the purchase and
shipment of cotton to the sea ports from which it may be exported. |
| Such being the duties of Mr. Noble you will furnish him
all necessary facilities for the prompt dispatch of his important
business. |
