| The correspondence between yourself and
Colonel Wadley and Captain Sims, his successor, in relation to an
engine and 39 cars belonging to the Manassas Gap Rail Road has been
referred to this office for attention. |
| As it appears that the engine and cars are
under your control, I have to direct that you take immediate measures
to have them collected and returned to Mr. Rice, the Superintendent of
this Road, as soon as practicable. |
