| To all Quartermasters in the Confederate States |
| The bearer hereof: Mr P. H. Mayo, Chief Clerk of the
Transportation Office, will proceed to such points as may be necessary
to put into operation my order of the 2d March last in reference to the
new system of coupons for persons and freight, and all officers of this
Department are requested to respect his instructions in the premises. |
| If a Register has been kept, as prescribed in General
Order No 105, from the Adjutant and Inspector General's Office, it will
be exhibited; but if one has not been kept the requirement of the above
order will hereafter be observed. |
