| Your telegram of the 17th has been received. The corn
intended for Johnston's army does not necessarily go through the Post Q
Master at Montgomery & no reason is apparent why he should have anything
to do with it. It should be forwarded by the various transportation
QMasters along the route. The case is not sufficiently explained in
telegram. The above is the general rule in the matter. |
