Dear Sir, |
I am informed that troops are rapidly
accumulating at Lynchburg awaiting transportation over your road. If
you have not sufficient stock and motive power try to obtain it from
the {Virginia} Central Road as the troops
must be forwarded. I wish you also to see that the baggage of the
soldiers awaiting transportation should be removed to your depot and
its animals and property cared for until their departure. |
