| Recommendations by yourself &
others for the appointment of Mr. H. M. Isaacson as AQMaster have been
received at this office. |
| It has recently been deemed proper to
transfer a number of officers of this Dept. from Alabama, & it is
believed from representations which have been made to this office that
there are others whose present duties are not of sufficient extent &
importance to require their continuance thereon, & who can be spared for
service elsewhere. |
| If assistance is required by you it will
only be necessary to make application to this office, stating the
necessity therefor, & the duties to be performed & if approved an
officer will be assigned thereto. |
| You are requested to inform C. E. Williams
that he is not, & cannot be recognized as an officer of this Dept. |
