Major Morfit reports to me delays
occurring in the transportation of freight through Columbia. |
He suggests that your position and
knowledge will enable you to facilitate greatly the speedy shipment of
freight in transit, and that you are not unwilling to undertake the
task. In that event I would ask that you take the immediate control of
all freight, other than local, arriving at Columbia and do all in your
power to secure it a speedy passage onward. |
