| It is of the utmost importance that the
Engine "G. P. R. James," which belongs to the Fredericksburg
{Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac} Rail
Road should be returned, and I have to direct that you make every
effort to accomplish this object. I will sanction any reasonable
arrangement you make to return this Engine and to secure the prompt
transportation of Government stores between the depots. |
