You have been furnished with nearly 500
horses & 200 mules since 1st May & 75 wagons. There are ninety
art'y horses at the Junction now -- other horses & mules are now
on their way to Richmond from which you will receive an additional
supply. The transportation of the Brigades that have gone to Genl. Lee
is following on. Shipped you two thousand bushels of corn {about
7 car loads} this morning. Will ship you fully as much
tomorrow. |
