| I have received your letter requesting that the Quarter
Master at Wilmington be allowed to direct and settle the transportation
account of the Wilmington, Charlotte & Rutherford RRoad Company. You can
present the account to Major Morey, and this letter will be his
authority to settle it. Like other transportation dues this will have to
be paid in Confederate Bonds. |
