| I have considered the statements contained
in your communication of the 21st instant relative to the difficulties
existing in the transportation department at Weldon & in reply have to
inform you that if you will suggest the name of a suitable person, who
is not subject to Military duty, for appointment as bonded
transportation Agent, such appointment will be made, & you can thus be
relieved of some of the labors to which you refer. |
