| Dispatch received. Send the ammunition
first to Charlottesville, then the clothing and quarter masters stores,
the Negroes and horses may be sent to Lexington or Charlottesville, the
guns may be sent by road with horses, if you have not transportation by
rail. I have ordered all cars at command on
{Virginia} Central Road to be sent as soon as possible. |
