Your letters of the 24th ultimo, have been received at
this office. The duty of auditing the accounts of the four Rail Roads,
viz: Western & Atlantic, Macon & Weston, Atlanta & West Point, Georgia
Rail Road, will hereafter be performed by you, instead of by Captain
Bacon, as it is more germane to your general duties at Atlanta. You will
so inform Captain Bacon. |
My letter of the 13th instant was addressed to Captain
Bacon as the Post Quarter Master. The instructions contained in it will
be obeyed by you, as if the same had been specially given to you. |
