| You are requested to forward to this office as soon as
practicable, a statement showing what disposition has been made by you
of the funds which remained in your hands when your last accounts were
rendered & of such as have been received by you since that time. |
| You will also inform me what length of time will be
required to close your accounts, & why you have not heretofore settled
them; the time that has elapsed since you were last on duty being
regarded as amply sufficient for that purpose. |
