| I have received your letter of this date
in which you request that I will have restored to you, as President of
the Memphis & Charleston RR, two engines had some time since for
the use of the East Tennessee & Virginia road. I have complied
with your wish, by issuing the necessary directions to Mr. John R.
Branner, President of the latter road. You will apply to him in
relation to the matter. |
