I am informed that public
stores are frequently shipped in bad order, and are so noted on the
freight coupons, thus vitiating the government claims with Railroad
Companies for loss or damage. In future you will not allow stores to
be sent forward unless they are in good shipping condition. All
packages should be properly coopered, and bags repaired, before
shipment, and there should be no unnecessary delay on this account. |
