| You are requested to furnish as soon as
may be possible, an estimate of the cost of constructing a plank road
from Keysville, upon the Richmond & Danville R. R. to Clarksville
on the Roanoke Valley R. R. a distance of about twenty two miles. |
| You will state also, in what time such a
road can probably be constructed; and add such other information, as
to the supply of suitable timber, facilities for procuring it
etc, as may be pertinent to this subject. |
