By direction of the Secretary of War, transportation
for seventy two (72) hogsheads of sugar {about 5
1/2 carloads}, contributed by the State of Mississippi to her
troops in the field will be furnished at such times and in such
quantities as may be permitted by the pressing demands for
transportation of Government subsistence stores. |
The sugar is in charge of Mr. W. M. Divine, agent for
the Mississippi Depot in Richmond. |
