| I have received your letter of the 7th enclosing one
from the Superintendent of the Orange & Alexandria Rail Road. |
| I understand you in this communication to enforce the
claims of this Road both on your personal character and official
responsibility for increased compensation; and from the facts stated I
will approve an account for an increase of fifty per cent, to include
all unsettled claims with your Road since the 12th December last. |
