I have recd from the Surgeon General a letter the
representing the necessity that exists for filling up a ten pin alley,
at Bristol, or Goodson, as a hospital to accommodate the sick of the
forces stationed in that vicinity. I have to request that you will
examine the place referred to & report to me its fitness & capacity, the
terms on which it can be had, & the probable expense attending the
change to be made. |
