| My attention has been called to an order directing Major Hottle Qr
Mr to rebuild certain Rail Roads I will be glad to have Maj Hottle
render all the assistance in his power, but the business and expense of
rebuilding Rail Roads has been entrusted t the Engineer Bureau and I
respectfully suggest that it will create confusion for Maj Hottle to
operate independent of the officers of that Bureau. |
