| Your report in regard to the
refusal of the steam ferry boat at Wilmington to transfer ordnance and
ordnance stores etc., en route from Richmond to the South, has been
made the subject of a communication to Major Ashe, now at Wilmington.
The course your pursued in regard to the entries in your
transportation book is a proper one; it is not necessary, in addition
thereto, to enter the Company and Regiment upon the transportation
ticket. |
