| In order to consolidate & more
perfectly systematize all matters relating to R. Road transportation
Maj. Ch. Maurice Smith, Q. M. is relieved from duty with Lt. Col.
Cone, & will hereafter report to Lt. Col. Harris, in charge of
Rail Road transportation. Such R. R. accts as are settled in Richmond,
as will be due up to Jann'y 1st 1865, will be estimated for, through
Lt. Col. Cone: after that date R. R. acct's will be estimated for by
Maj. Smith, direct. |
