| As your dispatch last week read that Major
Peters was in Atlanta, I telegraphed you that he would remain there
and so telegraphed to Atlanta. I now learn that Major Hottle has
charge of Railroad matters there. He is a very efficient officer, but
your preference shall decide as soon as I learn where Major Peters is. |
