| I beg that you will place no obstacles in the way of J
H Craigmiles Agent of the Subsistence Dept Confederate States in having
transportation. You say to him that the Government has repudiated Col.
Ashe's contract at Chattanooga with the Rail Roads. I am not aware of
this. I expect to get on smoothly with you always. |
