| Give by telegraph all possible information in response
to the following resolution of Congress "Resolved, that Secretary of War
be requested to report to this Congress, the number of guns which have
been transported to Texas, for the defence of the coast of that state;
the cost of such transportation; and what would have been the cost, had
a rail road from New Iberia, Louisiana, to Orange in Texas been
completed." Answer promptly. |
