Knowing the difficulties in regard to Rail
Road Transportation that now press upon you, and anxious to do
everything in my Power to assist you, I beg that you will indicate to
me what Officer you would prefer to have stationed at Atlanta in
charge of this matter. Major Peters, Major Hottle, and Major Horbach
are all available for this service, and I will be glad to assign to
the duty any one of these Officers, or any one else whom you may
designate. |
