received. The remarks you make in regard to the transportation of Beef
Cattle, have been referred to the Commissary General and his attention
invited to the subject. |

Master at Fort Gaines{, Ala.} and arrange
with him in regard to the relief of the railroads, by using the river,
so far as may be possible. |
