| I have received your letter of the 14th inst relative
to the prices of various articles of Army supplies at Petersburg Va. I
have directed Capt W H Hawkins to apply to you for some hay presses. You
can apply to Mr Morfit for books & papers in his possession that you may
need to superintend army transportation at your post this will be a
sufficient order |
