It is represented that a number of claims
for wagons and teams hired and forage purchased by you, and still
outstanding in the Valley of Virginia. It is desirable that these claims
should be paid as promptly as possible. |
It is suggested that their character and
extent are known to your clerk (Mr Morisson) and probably the best plan
to arrange them speedily would be to dispatch him to that region with
authority to close up these outstanding matters, at once. You will take
immediate action upon this subject. |
