been referred to me by Captain P. H. Langdon, Assistant Quarter
Master, at Weldon. |
| It seems to me that your Company can make
the desired arrangement agreed to by the W. & W. R. Rd. {Wilmington
& Weldon RR} without additional responsibility and labor,
and as it will greatly facilitate the movements of, and afford greater
protection to Government Supplies in transit between this point and
Wilmington, I respectfully request that you will acquiesce in the
arrangement. |
| It is usual when stores are turned over to
a Depot Agent, for the Road which he represents to give a receipt for
the same. |
