the privations to which they have been exposed while on their way to the
Hospital & respectfully suggests that steps be taken to remedy the
alleged evil. |

of Mr Van Degrift {Vandergrift} Supt of the
Orange & Alex RR who is requested to give orders that no such shameful
neglect of the wounded occurs in future & hopes that the man will be
discharged who left the wounded to suffer so long are confidentially
